Sinovated Technology Limited is pleased to announce the successful completion of a full field trial of its flagship gerontechnology product, the SAFERIN Smart Elderly Care System. The trial was carried out in collaboration with the Elite Institute of Advanced and Professional Education.

The trial was conducted at two elderly care centers, Sik Sik Yuen Ho Cheung Elderly Home and Sik Sik Yuen Ho Yam Care and Attention Home for the Elderly. Its goal was to assess how well the SAFERIN Smart Elderly Care System improves elderly safety, supports active fall prevention, and enhances care efficiency. The system combines artificial intelligence and sensor technology to promote a smart and safe care environment for older adults.

On-site product demonstrations and hands-on training were provided at the care homes to explain the main functions of the SAFERIN Smart Elderly Care System to users.

During the trial, representatives from Sinovated Technology Limited visited the centers to provide product demonstrations and user training. They explained the main functions of the SAFERIN Smart Elderly Care System to the elderly residents and care staff, including the AI virtual assistant (a bedside interactive character), the multi-sensor monitoring system, and the mobile app interface for care staff. This training helped users become familiar with the system before the formal trial and use all features with confidence.

At the same time, research representatives from the Elite Institute of Advanced and Professional Education carried out an independent field study. They used on-site observation, structured questionnaires, and in-depth interviews to collect data and evaluate the system’s usability, response speed, and overall safety benefits.

After completing the data analysis, the chief researcher of the Elite Institute of Advanced and Professional Education prepared a report titled “Evaluation Report on the SAFERIN Smart Elderly Care System: Enhancing Safety, Usability, and Care Efficiency in Residential Homes.” The findings show that the SAFERIN Smart Elderly Care System can effectively improve safety management and operational efficiency, while also increasing residents’ sense of security and independence. Most residents felt that the AI virtual assistant was easy to use and reassuring, and care staff highly praised the system’s reliability, real-time response, and effectiveness in preventing falls.
